We are starting!

When our common pilot training Nettrain at Liverpool was nearly over, we decided together to start our blog. I have promised to start it but there is always something more urgent... It means it took me some time. We met this week together with Stephanie in Munster, we went through whole training package and based on your feedback, we have implemented some changes. There are more links to networking. We have also slightly changed some activities....

NETTRAIN IN GREECE
Unfortunately there was no course. There were enough partcipants but due to the changes in the Grundtvig system it was very difficult to get grants... We hope it will be better and there is already the new course at the course database. We will try to have two courses at least in 2008.

I hope this blog will be the great place for us to chnge our opinions and experience. Have wonderfull summer days.

Dear NetTrain friends
Now I can publish the reference number of the German NetTrain course
DE-2008-752-001
You will find all detailled information about this course on the EU web site http://ec.europa.eu/education/trainingdatabase/
It would be nice if all of you can tell colleagues and network partners about the course and your experiences.
Thank you very much
Stephanie

As one of the Trainers in Liverpool I feel the course would have run better with only two trainers. It was clear that particpants had different concepts of what networking is and I feel this should be clarified at the first session after introductions and icebreakers. It would also have been useful if as Trainers we had had some backgound information about the participants. Some time within the schedule to sightsee, visit projects would enhance the programme. It does not help when you are ill and have to train!!! I am now very well!!

Helen

I fully agree. The course with two trainers is the very good idea. I think there is plan to do this (Germany and Greece 2008). As far as I know, there are some rules for pilot trainings, that the courses are delivered by three trainers
